My name is Antoinique "Laydee" Halton a 20-something Fashion Grad from Cleveland, Ohio currently living in Atlanta, GA.I created the "Laydee Posh" blog was created because there weren't a lot of fashionable voices coming from the Midwest and plus size voices at that. So as a plus size women from the Midwest I felt it was extremely important for me to create that voice, and be that voice. My  love for fashion grew when I was very young and I became immediately lost in the world of everything fashion. I was literally consumed in every aspect of  the fashion industry from photography, sewing, textiles, magazines, and of course the fashion shows, it all amazed me. However chasing the dream of being apart of the fashion world wasn't ideal for an enthusiastic chubby girl like myself however I pursued it anyway. When growing up in a world where you're told by society and by the fashion industry that you can't be stylish because of your shape and because of your body was tough. Fortunately we're finally in a world that has accepted that no matter your size, shape or body type you can still be stylish. This blog is about me embracing and celebrating your curves and empowering women to love themselves enough to do so as well!
