The Nicki Minaj Kmart Takeover  

Nicki Minaj is giving Kmart so much life this fall with the debut of her brand new Kmart Collection that was released today. Each of her pieces stay true to the "Nicki Minaj Brand" which are evidently show cased throughout her entire line. Its without a doubt that Kmart has never had so many fresh, fly and fashion forward fabulous pieces on there racks I just know the "Barbs" (Nicki Minaj Fans) pulling tearing off the racks. I must admit I was a little nervous when Nicki Minaj annouced her line with Kmart and how she create a wearable collection mostly because her over the top looks that she's known for wearing and most of the time pulling them off. But suprisingly her line is both wearable and tasteful and I love her flirty dresses, and her use of animal prints, graphics, fun colors and denim. She defintly owns her collection through her photo campaign in which she rocks her own pieces like the true fashionista she is. Overall her line is nothing short of AMAZING and her sizes extend to a XXL in select pieces. The only let down for me personally was that among all of her fabulous clothes and accesories there were no shoes :(. Maybe there will be a shoe collection from her in the near future. Items are avaialbe for sale online at www.kmart.com but they seem to be have some kinks that they are still working on so that purchasing and pre-ordering will go smoothly. MYNT 1792 Holiday Jacket Collection

"Team work make the dream work"

What happens when some of the best full figured fashion bloggers in the game team up to create a Holiday collection of jackets? A fashion explosion!!! MYNT 1792 approached these bloggers because they loved there personal styles and knew that each of them could create five uniquely different but equally fabulous jackets, and boy did they deliver! I love how each of these ladies interpreted there personal style into each jacket while also drawing inspiration from other places.As much as I would love to get my hands on some of these jackets right now they won't be released for sale until November 1st.These trendy coats range between $108-$248 and because they wont be released till next month that gives you beauties plenty of time to set aside money for these "Fall-Buh-Las" jackets. But until then here's a sneak peek at each jacket and the inside scoop on where each blogger drew there inspiration from while designing these beautiful and very versatile pieces!

Nadia Aboulhson "I was really inspired by the early '90s and various Missy Elliott videos for this jacket.Making my dream jacket, and the fact that my readers can actually have access to it is incredible!"

Alison Teng "Being able to work with MYNT 1792 on a namesake jacket was a total dream come true! I wanted to create a piece that works for Southern California's mild winter, and incorporates a few of my favorite features-quilted leather sleeves, exposed zippers in a rich gold hue, and a convertible length for added versatility."

[The LaydeePosh Lookbook] Casual Chic

Yesterday I went to the Saint Louis Fashion Week's "Fall in to Fashion"  show at the Galleria Mall.This particular show showcased fall looks for some of the great stores located within the mall which was awesome.But with that being said I didn't want to over do it style wise for this fashion show considering its casual location. [Beau-Tea]DIY Gradient Nails

Gradient nails have been on my DIY personal checklist for quite sometime now, so I figured it would be great project for my first DIY post.So after several trial and error attempts I officially created the perfect gradient nail using sinful color nail polish that can be found at your local Walgreens for $1.99.I hope my pic-tutorial

Step#1 Choose your Polish (Between 2-4 colors for best results)

Step#2 Apply Base Coat

Step#3 Apply main layer of colr polish

Step#4 Apply colors in layers that you wpuld like them to appear on make up sponge.

Step#5 Press sponge to nail (repeat step 4 & 5 at least 3 times per nail)

Step#6 Apply top coat polish

Step#7 Use nail polish remover and q-tipsto clean up any excess polish around nail or cuticles
