I was going through my closet and came across this really awesome high waist/high split maxi skirt I bought earlier this year on Ebay. As I was holding the hanger, I thought to myself "how could I forget to wear this bad boy this summer?!" Then suddenly my fashion light bulb switched on in my head and I came  up with an awesome stylish summer to fall concept for this skirt,"ADD LEGGINGS!" And that's exactly what I did! It's finally my favorite season of the year,FALL!  That means it's time to swap out your summer wardrobe and open toe shoes and break out your cute jackets,tights, and boots! And honestly what better way to pair up your fall essentials then with the perfect fall dress. This week I stopped by one of my fav plus size stores Torrid.I went into Torrid on a mission to find bargain and while I was browsing the clearance racks I found two great transitional fall dresses. Both of the dresses I found screamed 90's fashion and when I was told by the sales associate that all clearance was buy one get one free I immediately fell in love. What I love about these two dresses where the color,style and print. They both have a velvety texture and really short flirty flow of the dress. Check out the details on my head to toe looks below!

[Fashion Buzz] Nicki Minaj's Kmart Collection

The Nicki Minaj Kmart Takeover  

Nicki Minaj is giving Kmart so much life this fall with the debut of her brand new Kmart Collection that was released today. Each of her pieces stay true to the "Nicki Minaj Brand" which are evidently show cased throughout her entire line. Its without a doubt that Kmart has never had so many fresh, fly and fashion forward fabulous pieces on there racks I just know the "Barbs" (Nicki Minaj Fans) pulling tearing off the racks. I must admit I was a little nervous when Nicki Minaj annouced her line with Kmart and how she create a wearable collection mostly because her over the top looks that she's known for wearing and most of the time pulling them off. But suprisingly her line is both wearable and tasteful and I love her flirty dresses, and her use of animal prints, graphics, fun colors and denim. She defintly owns her collection through her photo campaign in which she rocks her own pieces like the true fashionista she is. Overall her line is nothing short of AMAZING and her sizes extend to a XXL in select pieces. The only let down for me personally was that among all of her fabulous clothes and accesories there were no shoes :(. Maybe there will be a shoe collection from her in the near future. Items are avaialbe for sale online at www.kmart.com but they seem to be have some kinks that they are still working on so that purchasing and pre-ordering will go smoothly.
