Casual Vibes

#DressLikeALaydee

Can I be real? It's been a while since I owned a actual pair of real jeans. I always cringed from trying them on because my weight for the past few years has been on the up and up and well trying on jeans can sometimes make you face a uncomfortable truth... you know finding out your actual pant size. Well this year has been a roller coaster my weight has been up and down and well I've finally gotten back on track so on track that I'm actually six pant sizes smaller than I was last year. HALLELUJAH!! The "boyfriend jean" has been a popular trend for the past two years they are a comfortable fit and I love the fact you can adjust the hem by rolling the cuff up or down. Throw them on with you favorite pair of ankle booties and hit the streets. Well dolls. Until Next time.

Boss Brunch 2015

Atlanta, GA

I was delighted to attend celebrity stylist Shun Melson's first ever Boss Brunch event held in downtown Atlanta, GA. The sold out event was flat out "fall-bulous", the venue's setting was absolutely beautiful, warm very intimate, the food amazing, and the sisterhood vibe was extremely welcoming from the time I stepped through the door.

The southern style brunch included freshly catered waffles, fried chicken, turkey, grits, cheese eggs, stuffing, oven baked mac and cheese, rolls, salad , fruit and lastly fresh juice and mimosas.

Shun Speaks on Her Success

"You have to be consistent" ....

"You have to be consistent" Shun said as she spoke on her success to the fifty female entrepreneurs in the room. Shun credits her success to God and staying constantly prayed up, along with her desire to have more for her family. Her success story on how she created the opportunity that she wanted for herself is remarkable and her drive is none the less incredible. I won't give away too many details regarding her success story and advice for blossoming bosses because she does plan on going on a Brunch tour in a few other cities. Her brunch is worth every dollar and her gift bags were loaded. Also if you're a serious fashionista with expensive taste and looking for stylist check out Shun's website to view her work and contact her for rates.

The Pop Up Shop

After the brunch ladies enjoyed a Pop Up Shop with one of a kind vendors selling jewelry, clothing, hair products and even a nail salon offering manicure services. The DJ kept the party going as the ladies mixed and mingled and exchanged business cards.
